Hello you awesome hobby manufacturer*. I’m 55 yr old Dave in NY, diving into a 22×50 ft HO pike in my basement. Being a mechanic/welder/fabricator all life long… I was a little short winded on whether or not your “rail cutter” would actually work as advertised. WELL, color me completely impressed ! Having all my experience with tools, I firmly thought that’s all this thing is gonna do is roll over all the edges of the rail… which afterwards, I’m just gonna have to file all down. Again… I was proven just SO wrong. Your cutter leaves such a clean, deburr free cut, I barely need to reach for a file … AND, it was just effortless !!! Prior to dropping that entire $17 down for your cutter, I used to cut rails with a miter box/micro saw. Umm… those days are gone*. THANK YOU so much for an actual “quality” product… and, just so ya know … had I known of the results earlier… I would have paid twice as much! I simply appreciate “quality” because THESE DAYS, it’s hard to find. Thanx again for actually giving a shit about what you sell to the public because… it matters.

I use the 410 for cutting 3-D printer plastic filament; it is the only tool I have that can reach into the print head when changing filaments – Bruce, VT (Sept 2016)
A quick thank you. The tool set arrived the other day and I can tell I’m going to get lots of use from all of them. I really like the PE scissors. Remove parts from the fret without losing them — what a novel concept. Al, IN (Aug 2016)
“I have been making jewelry for 25 years. That means I have used many wire cutters. I wished that I could find a cutter that worked equally well on thinner to heavy gauge wire AND last more than a couple of months. Years ago I ran across the Xuron® Maxi Shear™ Cutter and my search ended right there. This is a cutter that stands up to the job. It cuts beautifully leaving a great flush cut. My tools are used by many students in my jewelry classes and this cutter stands up to that challenge. It’s perfect for cutting 26-10G wire. Maxi Shear, I don’t know what I’d do without you!” – Kate Richbourg, Jewelry Educator at www.beadshop.com
“Xuron® Thread & Cord Scissors make cutting abrasive-weaving-threads easy as pie! The small blades allow me to get close to the beads so no thread-tails are visible. They make me and my projects look good!” “When I show my students how well they cut, jaws drop in amazement!”

“Many of our members at IART work on the professional tennis tour and they demand nothing but the very best. Xuron provided us with samples and we, in turn, sent them to be used at pro tournaments. We ask our testers to really give the tools a workout and give us some feedback. Their response was overwhelmingly positive giving us all the proof we needed to open our account with Xuron. The Xuron shears that we use in racquet stringing are perfect for our application because the blades are slightly offset resulting in a very nice clean cut through the string, exactly what we’re looking for. We also made a special request to Xuron to modify one of their tools specifically for our application and they were more than happy to accommodate us.
The quality and workmanship of the Xuron line is unrivaled and their willingness to stand behind their products 100% is proof positive that you can buy Xuron tools with complete confidence. We also like that the tools are manufactured right here in the United States. We can’t recommend them highly enough”
I have used my 2175 for about 10 years and it has held up very well. I recently bought a second pair as a backup and a similar model that cuts music wire. That one is great for stainless steel guitar strings. The return spring makes them fast and easy to use.
